When one person believes.

When one person believes, the cycle of giving begins.

"Tampa's been very goool to us and we want to reciprocate when we can," explains Jerry Williams, a Community Foundation olonor supporting a wide variety of causes. Through scholarship support to university stuolents and grants to All Sports Community Service, a nonprofit agency which mentors young people through athletic and college preparatory programs and classes, Jerry and Jane Williams have given generously to launch their own cycle of giving.

Kylie |\/Ioord Sikhakhane, a forrner scholarship recipient from the Williams' alma mater, DePauw University, is living her dream. As a Reading Coach for the Hillsborough County School District, Kylie supports teachers by helping youth olevelop read-ing proficiency and now mentors members of Blake High School Urban Teaching Academy. Growing up poor, she relates to the challenges her students face and inspires them to reach their potential.

"You feel empowered," reflects Kylie. "If l can help 500 kids, and even half of them come back,
that's 250 kids coming back to their community and pushing forward."

Tyrone Keys of All Sports Community Service was the adult pushing Kylie forward into the cycle of giving.
Keys remembers determination playing basketball, and admires how she's now playing the game of life. "Each person has to pass the baton to make the next generation better," says Keys. "Now her students can begin to achieve their dreams."

Kylie's example is why Jerry and Jane Williams enjoy providing scholarships. "lt continues to help the community."
