This Mother’s Day brought a new joyful memory to a once-broken family in West Tampa. Cheryl McCarter-Perry lost her son, Albert Perry, 20 years ago to a senseless shooting at a high school party. The last time she was seen in a limo, she was attending his funeral at Mount Pleasant Church.
